There are no words to describe al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin’s TUS first Ashara Mubaraka as al-Dai al-Mutlaq. The waaz mubarak from the very first day to the day of Ashura was simply the zikr, shukr and remembrance of his beloved naas, al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA. Syedna asserted that this zikr is the foundation on which all other knowledge is built. It is the zikr that has been written in the heavens, and which Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA has scribed with his radiant pen for people of the earth.
Each waaz was based on a specific khitaab (title) of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA, which Syedna al-Dai al-Ajal TUS elaborated upon through language, history and Quranic verses. The first khitaab: عمدة العلماء الموحدين which can be translated as ‘Support of the Learned Monotheists’, was bestowed upon Burhanuddin Maula by his father on the day of Ghadire Khum in 1361 H.
In Arabic, عمدة refers to a person or a thing that provides support. The Quran states that the skies have been raised by a pillar which man cannot fathom. Syedna TUS revealed that this pillar is the Imam, without whom creation would not exist. The men of science have long tried to eradicate this concept, the concept of a Creator in favor of nature. But each Imam, and each Dai with his foresight and wisdom keeps Mumineen on the right path.
