A year has passed since Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA left us for his heavenly abode, yet Moula RA is very much with us, amongst us. For years he bestowed barakaat on Mumineen and fulfilled their desires; today he continues to do so manifold times. One recalls the words of Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin RA in his elegy for Syedna Yusuf Najmuddin RA: “The one, who in spite of being confined to the physical body, could possess such qualities; how greater is he upon release from physical confinements.”
Wherever Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA travelled, Mumineen would line up on the way waiting to catch a glimpse of his radiant countenance. Today, whenever one steps into the sanctified precincts of Raudat Tahera one finds a line of Mumineen awaiting a chance to the ziyaarat of his qabr mubarak.
Mumineen who were fortunate to attend his hazrat imaamiyah would, out of their love and desire to see a smile on his face, present him with gifts in such abundance that many a times the area around him would be filled with these humble offerings. Today, Mumineen, with the same fervour carry ghilaf in such great numbers that if stacked one upon another they would reach the sky.
While performing ziyaarat Mumineen gather the petals scattered on his qabr mubarak and preserve them to seek shifaa’; much the way they treasured the water into which he breathed life and shifaa’ from all illnesses and maladies.
Every mumin’s ultimate desire was to get a chance to kiss his hands, or his feet, and that moment which lasted barely a few seconds became the most treasured moment of their lifetime. Today, Moula’s qabr mubarak is the invaluable treasure of barakaat and fulfillment of desires.Mumineen spend days travelling from far and wide in order to get just one priceless moment to do ziyaarat and express their heartfelt desires.
The 52 nd Dai Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA will live on and on; in the annals of history, for immemorial, in the being of his mansoos, the 53 rd Dai, Syedna AaliQadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS in whose glowing visage shines Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA ever brightly. May Allah grant him a long and healthy life till the Day of Qiyaamat.
