Ayyaamut T´abbudaatare upon us, the days we dedicated year after year in prayer and supplication to Allah Ta´ala for the long life of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA. A year ago, as Mumineen were busy in ´ibaadat and du´aa’, as we prepared for the 103 rd Milad Mubarak of Burhanuddin Moula RA, on that fateful day of 16th Rabi al-Awwal Burhanuddin Moula RA departed this world for the hazrat of Imam al-Zaman AS. Our lives were shattered. Ayyaamut T´abbudaat had turned into days of unceasing tears, days of remembrance, of wishing and praying to have a glimpse of that radiant countenance just one more time.
And we did. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS descended the steps of Raudat Tahera, his hand raised in salaami, his eyes welled up in tears.We saw the very image of Burhanuddin Maula RA. Solace at this time was unimaginable, yet solace we had found.
Our hearts and lips have been habituated to one and only one du´aa’, the long life of Burhanuddin Moula RA, and it is a du´aa’ we shall never forego. This du´aa’ will live on with us just as Burhanuddin Maula’s RA radiance lives on, his nazaarat live on, his bounties live on, his maatam and bukaa’ upon Moulana Imam Husain AS live on, his bayaan lives on, his shafaqat lives on, his salaami lives on. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA lives on in Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS. May Allah grant him a long life until the day of Qiyaamat.
