The Imtehan al-Sanawi (1436 H), annual examinations of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah will be etched in the chronicles of Fatemi history. The khutbah of Zikra which marks the beginning of imtehan took place on the urs mubarak of al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Taher SaifuddinRA in Mumbai, and the remainder of the imtehaan was conducted in Surat. Oral and written examination were centered around the zikr of al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA based on the Risalatal-Na´yeof al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS‘ Hikmat al Ghaibat al Qudsaaniyah al-Abadeeyah” (Wisdom of the DivineEternalSeclusion). The risaalat constitutes of 102 shaanaat (glories) of Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA: one hundred shaanaat plus two detailing his blessings on his revered son and mansoos and his janaazah mubarakah. The Iwaan al-Barakaat of Aljamea came alive with the zikr of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA as students recited the ibaarat shareefah and narrated historical events, while screens projected videos and photographs from the key junctures in Syedna al-Muqaddas’s long life, especially the pivotal restoration of al-Jaame´ al-Anwar. Hearts cried in remembrance of their beloved Dai as they witnessed tasawwur and tasweer come together. This was all the more so when Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS in the very image of his revered father, appeared in the window of the ghurfah and gave salaami to Mumineen.
