احب الاعمال الى الله ادومها و ان قل

Words are insufficient to appreciate the gift al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA bestowed upon Mumineen: ‘Raudat Hidaayaat’ a treasury of the hidaayaat of AwliyaullahAS. So multifaceted is each word of each hadeeth mubarak of RasulullahSA and kalaam muneef of Amirul MumineenSA that it can be applied to every aspect of our lives. Appealing in its simplicity, each word guides us to a fulfilled life in this world, while preparing us for the journey to the Hereafter.

RasulullahSA counsels:

احب الاعمال الى الله ادومها و ان قل

The deed dearest to Allah Ta´aala is that which is most consistent even if small.
(Hadeeth 1,Raudat Hidaayaat 1)

Consistency is commended in every wake of life, be it in parenting, in school, at work or in sports. The more consistent one is the more likely he is to succeed.
Hudaat KiraamAS, through their illustrious deeds and words have diligently guided Mumineen to that which has been and is always consistent in pleasing Allah Ta´aala. Recall the fifty glorious years of al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mohammed BurhanudinRA. Little by little, day by day, he instilled in us both ´ilm and ´amal and repeatedly explained that those were the deeds closest to his heart.

Each year he spoke of his pleasure in the few deeds we performed during Ayyam al-Tabbudaat until they became an integral part of our life; the ´ibaadat by which we attain the pleasure of Allah Ta´aala.
He encouraged us to recite the Quran every day and to do hifz as much as possible. The numerous huffaaz (plural of haafiz al-Quran) today bear testimony to Burhanuddin Maula’sRA tireless efforts.

The few words by which the Ghulaam of Bani Riyaah consistently greeted Moulana AliAS “اني والله احبك يا مولاي” were so dear to Allah Ta´aala that he sent his malaa’ikat to walk with his janaazah, they were so dear to RasulullahSA and Moulana AliAS that they removed all his shackles, prayed on his janaazah and did du´aa’ for him and they are so dear to our MoulaTUS that even today more than fourteen hundred years later, the zikr of this ghulaam is recited regularly.
