In the majlis of Zikra 1435H, al Dai al Fatemi, Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS gathered mumineen from all over the world and blessed them with the jewel of all jewels eternal life. Maula TUS emphasized that a peaceful and prosperous life on Earth and eternal life in the hereafter can only be attained with jewels from the treasures of Awliyaullah SA.
Jewels are the most sought after things on earth due to their immutability. That is why the eternal life which transcends change and death is called the jewel of all jewels. And it is to enrich mumineen with the jewel of eternal life that Awliyaullah SA have descended to Earth.
The jewel of knowledge is essential for eternal life. The skies shower the earth with pure water but after falling to earth the purity of the water changes according to the purity of its receptor. Similarly, Awliyaullah SA are the source of all knowledge in its purest form, and for eternal life, one needs to partake from this source. Thus, Mumineen should make it their utmost priority to attain jewels of knowledge from Awliyaullah AS. All other knowledge is beneficial only if it does not lead you away from your Maula TUS, in which case eternal life will be lost forever. Maula TUS said that it is a matter of pride that there are numerous professionals in the Dawoodi Bohra community all steeped in knowledge of their respective professions. Doing bayaan from Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s RA mubarak words, Maula TUS stressed that he has used the word knowledge. Therefore, in the professional world, learning without knowing how to apply your education in the service of your community and your nation is of no use. Those who came to the janazaa mubarakah of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA have this knowledge. They are priceless jewels that gathered around the janazah mubaraka, and all those who did not come, not even by heart and spirit, however knowledgeable these people may claim to be, are of no value whatsoever and have lost all hope of eternal life.
Maulatena Hurrah al Malekah RA knew where the 21st Imam was in seclusion. She presented to Imam priceless jewels, a list seven pages long. She described each jewel and ornament in detail and made sure that the person entrusted with carrying the treasure towards the Imam SA obtained the Imam’s signature as a sign of receipt and acknowledgement. This was an indication towards Duat Mutlaqeen who are the living jewels that Maulatena Hurrah al Maleka RA presented to the Imam SA. Nine centuries have passed and the Duat have stayed steadfast to their mission and not changed from their commitment – a true sign of a jewel.
Maulana Ali SA says, “A man’s true worth is known in changing times.” A true gem is one who remains steadfast in the face of changing circumstances. Aqa Maula TUS elucidated this with the example of Maulana Abbas Alamdar SA in Kerbala. When Maulana Abbas AS gained access to the river the situation had changed. But Maulana Abbas’AS loyalty was immutable; he didn’t taste a drop of water as his Maula Husain AS was thirsty. He filled the mashqi and headed back towards Imam Hussain’s AS tents. His sole purpose was to get the water to his Maula HusainAS. When the enemies severed his right hand he took the mashqi in his left. When they severed his left hand he took the mashqi in his mouth. With every attack of the enemy, Abbas’AS resolve only got stronger. Finally, when enemies pierced the mashqi with arrow AbbasAS fell on the ground but he never lost sight of his aim the khidmat and khushi of his Maula. After praying this shahadat, MoulaTUS did dua that in this tumultuous and ever-changing world, may Allah keep us steadfastly with our to Maula TUS in this life and the next.
Over the past hundred years, Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA transformed thousands of souls of mumeneen into priceless jewels and returned to the hazrat of Imam uz ZamanAS. Their heir and successor Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS, the jewel of all jewels is carrying on their legacy of guidance and leading mumeneen towards eternal life and wellbeing. May allah grant Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS a long and healthy life.
